Simon Jimenez is an entrepreneur, business advisor, and accounting professional dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners build stronger, more organized, and more profitable businesses through practical guidance, operational structure, and financial insight.
His entrepreneurial journey began in Venezuela in 2010, where he founded and operated a consulting firm providing legal, accounting, administrative, and human resources support to businesses across various industries. This early experience gave him firsthand insight into the challenges business owners face when trying to grow while managing compliance, operations, finances, and people.
After relocating to the United States in 2015, Simon continued expanding his professional experience through leadership roles in corporate environments, developing expertise in finance, accounting, operations, and institutional compliance. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with organizations in the advertising, accounting, and real estate sectors, helping improve processes, strengthen financial controls, and support sustainable growth.
Simon earned an Associate Degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Midlands Technical College and later completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He also holds a Real Estate License, a Google Ads Certification, and is QuickBooks Certified. His combination of entrepreneurial experience, academic achievement, professional certifications, and corporate leadership provides a unique perspective that bridges the gap between business strategy and day-to-day execution.
Driven by a passion for helping entrepreneurs avoid costly mistakes, Simon founded My Own BusiMess to provide practical guidance, accounting support, operational structure, and business solutions for startups and established small businesses alike. The company’s mission is not only to help new business owners get off the ground from day one, but also to assist existing businesses in identifying inefficiencies, addressing operational challenges, and improving systems that are already producing results.
